Instructions for viewing and purchasing copies of Historical Document(s):
To perform an Index Search by Alpha Characters in the “Search Index Books” section located on the top left of the screen, use the drop-down box filters:
▸ To start, select the Record Type
▸ Next, select from the available Year Range
▸ Next, select the Last Name "Alpha Character"
▸ Next, select click on the "SEARCH" button
▸ Next, select the applicable case information to view a document
▸ Finally, Login/Regiser to purchase a copy of the document
To perform a search (ONLY if you have the Volume), in the “Search for a Document” section located on the top left of the screen:
▸ To start, select the Book Type
▸ Next, select a Volume
▸ Next, enter a Page Number (not a required field)
▸ Next, select click on the "SEARCH" button
▸ Finally, Login/Regiser to purchase a copy of the document
Please Note: Your online search may not retrieve all of the document(s).
If the desired document(s) are not available, please contact our office for assistance via email at
distclerk@fortbendcountytx.gov to request a specific document(s).
