Historical Deed Index Search – Polk County, Florida
Viewing historical deeds is a two-step process.
1. Search our online index to identify the book and page number where the deed was recorded. The index includes deeds recorded between 1861 and 1956. Records from 1957 to present day can be viewed through our official records search tool.
2. Next, you can request a copy of the deed through our online records request tool. Copies can also be obtained by visiting one of our three locations. Please be sure to note the book and page number when you submit your request.
Did You Know? Most historical deeds are located in the original record book and/or on microfilm. Oftentimes, the records are handwritten. The book and page numbers identify exactly where the record is saved. Identifying the book and page numbers expedite the process of locating the record and fulfilling your request.
