The Honorable Barbera Levey, Merced County Assessor-Clerk-Recorder & Registrar of Voters, is pleased to provide electronic access to search the county's historical Deed Record index books, and documents linked to those index books. To purchase copies of these documents, please contact the Merced County Recorder's Office.
This website accommodates access to Deed Record index books A-Z and 26-162, dating from 1850 to 1921. Document records related to these indexes (from 1850 to 1921) are available on Public Workstations, withing the Merced County Recorders Office.
Please Note: Some of these historic index books do not have page numbers associated with them. Where that is the case, you will be directed to the first page of the selected book and will be able to manually navigate through the pages of that book.
